Album Notes
Vnote Ensemble
Fusion of Venezuelan Music and Jazz / Acoustic Pop-Chamber Music / Venezuelan Cuatro + Jazz Combo

Hailed for its spirited performances and fascinating fusion of Venezuelan folk music with adventurous jazz explorations, the VNote Ensemble gives voice to the hidden treasure of Venezuelan music. Original compositions, keen arrangements, and excellent musicianship blend together to deliver a unique musical sound.

VNote Ensemble recording Connexion was recorded at the iconic Fantasy Studios in Berkeley CA.
It features a variety of music styles from Venezuela, the United States, and the Caribbean.
From waltz to 5/8 merengue, from calypso to swing, from Afro-Venezuelan drumming to Caribbean cha-cha; the Vnote Ensemble makes the connexion between folk-traditional Venezuelan music and jazz with contemporary and urban sounds.
