Album Notes
Hi, I am guitarist Connor Wilson. Music is gift. It is the language we can all understand and relate to. I hope to use this language to communicate the thoughts, feelings, dreams, inspirations, and impressions that have captured my imagination and share them with you. Guitar is the medium I use to create, and it is the greatest instrument in the world. Like an artist's paint brush, all the many different forms of guitar present such an array of color by which paint with. This first EP holds 5 creations of mine that I hope entertain and inspire you as they have me.

Vapor Blimp (Imp. 1): The concept for this tune was to turn on the mic, and see what happens. What you hear is the first and only take of a song created in the moment. (Hence Imp. 1) I named it Vapor Blimp as it makes me picture an 1800’s throw-together contraption looking something like a hot air balloon.

Journey of Innocence: Before it had a name, everyone who heard this tune said they imagined some sort of travel. When one friend said he was reminded of being young and growing up, it seemed only natural to name it something that encapsulated both feelings of going, and growing. I love playing this song!

Wings: This was based on an exercise I created for myself years ago to work on basic swept harmonics. It was written in an afternoon right before the last recording session, and named Wings because the opening riff makes my fingers feel like they’re flying.

Remembrance: One of my oldest tunes, I have wanted to record this one for so long. I had the honor of playing this song at my grandfather's funeral, and it's since become one of my favorite songs to play for anyone.

TAPS: I have always admired players who treat the guitar like a piano and play it on their lap. This is my humble attempt to emulate my heroes of slap guitar. I named it TAPS because of the percussive aspects to the playing, and also after my favorite bar. Bottoms up!

Thanks to Producer/Engineer Schuyler Turrill for his mastery in bringing these songs to life. Thanks to Ken Little, and the great staff at Hessel Church . Thanks to the team at, and thanks to the McDonald family at Mind404 Productions. And of course, thanks to you for spending your time and money to listen to and support my music.
