Aloha,

This is one of my favorite classes here at Hot Yoga on Nimitz in Honolulu, Hawaii. We've shorted the classic Bikram class from 90 minutes to 75 minutes. This allows for a great pace to class and still allows us to get 2 sets of each posture, but with less fuss. Class starts with a standing breathing exercise and follows the classic Bikram sequencing of postures. It is recommended heating the room and adding humidity to the air if possible to encouraging the body's natural detoxing capabilities. Drink water before, during and after class as you deem necessary. Try to take class on an empty stomach. Listen carefully and visit our website at HotYogaTV.com to learn more.

Class will start immediately. So, get prepared for your class. You'll need a yoga mat, a large towel to absorb sweat and water to hydrate. Find a mirror or use the reflection from a TV. Ok, start those space heaters or close the windows and doors to get more heat. Lamps, or lights work to increase heat as well.

Alright, take class slow and listen carefully. Not only to the instructions, but your body as well. This class has been done by countless people on a regular basis to improve and maintain the body/mind connection.
