ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
"Beautifully written and performed", "lyrically and sonically picturesque", "dreamlike depictions of real life" - These are some of the phrases being used to describe 'Only Human', the fourth solo album released by Conrad Walz. Recorded at various times and various locations over the course of 2012 - 2015, these are the moodier, more contemplative songs, many of which were recorded at least in part during the same period as the more raucous 'She Comes and Goes' album which was released in 2013 - a Sunday morning to follow Saturday night so to speak. Written on acoustic guitar, the album's 12 songs are decorated in varying degrees with drums, bass, pedal steel and electric guitars, as well as vintage keyboards, piano and a sprinkling of strings. A satisfying listen from start to finish.
