ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The ZAGARA album contains 12 tracks in which an emotion vibrates of sincere, strong yet sensitive poetry, reaching in its wandering various aspects of human soul.
Words sung in Italian and Sicilian dialect together with evocative instrumental sections make the listening of this material a very intense experience.
ZAGARA has been written, arranged and produced by brothers Maurizio and Roberto Giannone, the core of the CORIMÈ project. Meticulous sonic research and thoughtful composition give birth to a contemporary, peculiar mix.
Modern and ethnic percussions are often joined by instruments of the popular Italian tradition, more classic voicings of piano, strings and accordion; flavourful bass clarinet, trumpet and many common use objects which occasionally turn into musical instruments.
