Album Notes
I have an extensive background in both Classical music and electronic music technologies. After the Piano Degree I started to dedicate my spare time to hard-disk recording and Ambient & Soundtrack music. I compose unique instrumental pieces with a blend of piano, guitars, synths, bass and chill-out rhythms and arrange them to the final product.

I am an artist who writes for himself, for having a special emotion during the creative moment and when I listen to my own song. Like most visionaries, I understand that if you explore your passion, you will find other like-minded individuals along the way.
My musical vision is focused on energizing the genre of Ambient and Film Music by fusing the elements
of Electronic soundscapes, Chill-out drumming and Classical Piano playing that, with a special dedication to melody and arrangement, are blended in uniquely passionate ways.
With all these elements and a part of creativity I try to achieve a unique style that is my own.
So slide back in your easy-chair and let me take you on an audio journey!

My primary inspiration comes from Family, Life, Nature, Science, God and my life experiences with them.
Additional inspiration comes from my favourite artists like Mike Oldfield, Alan Parsons and Eric Woolfson, Keith Jarrett, Dave Grusin, Pat Metheney and other pure Electronic music composers like Jean-Michel Jarre and Kraftwerk.

Do I create music with an audience in mind? Sure. Me.
I am the audience. I want to hear things I do not hear on the radio. And I am betting there are other people out there that will like what I like.
My primary goal is to stay in touch with why I enjoy music; always thinking how to keep things fresh, daring, stylized, inventive, passionate, resonant and original.
It's not easy and I don't know if I will ever reach that goal... but just trying will be enough!

Master of the Eclectic Mix
Even as often as I have heard my friend Corrado's music, I am amazed at the depth and breadth of this particular collection. Yes, the music demonstrates his incredible technical skills (which I ENVY!), but it also showcases his incredible, unique ability to combine the classic with the contemporary. The result is that his music feels familiar, yet fresh. (I say "feels" because his music WILL touch you on an emotional level.) Corrado's ability to combine the fresh with familiar is a rare gift few artists have or are able to achieve, and it renders his music accessible and appreciable to virtually anyone who has ears. He is a true genius with an enormous talent, and if you purchase this CD, you will have the opportunity to taste just a small slice of his brilliance. Enjoy!

Great taste for music, great chillout
I am one of the lucky owners of the fantastic CD of Corrado. In this CD you'll find marvelous ambient with deep chillout, classical and jazzy influences. His touch on piano is marvelous, but his taste for good music creates magical atmospheres where ambient electronics meets classical and jazzy piano, and where mediterranean atmospheres melts with film music, sometimes with the style of Alan Parsons, as also the saxophones of the marvelous Low Tide may distantly recall something of "The Gold Bug" (more contemporary styled and surely totally original). Marvelous the voice of Queenie in Afterlife.
He may recall the style of Alan Parsons, Eric Woolfson, Dave Groosin and more. But for most he plays the same music genre with a deep Corrado Rossi's style.
My preferred ones: Eclipse, Low Tide, Afterlife and the track who starts the entire album, but I think this work really has not any "album filler": every track is a great track who leaves you impressed, who can makes you feel well. My very compliments: is a great work! :-)

A breeze of fresh air in my instrumental collection!
Corrado Rossi belongs to the modern artists with a true arranger's heart, proving a singular way to perform his keyboards and pianos in a classical manner, without trying to impress with "brickwall mix" thunderstorms... It's just amazing to meet an artist with a classic background who's also a master of modern sound design, and so it was a rare pleasure for me to listen to Corrado's instrumental album...
As a neo-classical opener this one is very touching - just a beautiful piano performance which turns into a romantic soundtrack mood, when string sections join. I like this dynamic piece very much, and I really think, Kate Bush would love to sing on this one...

From neo classic to space night... as I've heard many of your amazing tunes online, I wasn't really surprised about the change of direction. Clever fx design and powerful beat programming, hear some Mark Snow influences. This work is cool, with a touch of adventure.
When I listened to those dreamy intro layers it was so easy to imagine to watch the constellations, the milky way. The rhythm part begins with an absolutely wonderfully effected groove, an easy piano motif, which grows to a type of groovy jazz improvisation with beautiful Vangelis-like pads and strings.

Corrado together with the wonderful musicians of The Wimshurst's Machine... (this track is also included on their album "Time Traveller"). Very atmospheric, laid back, wonderful arrangement with percussive power developed by TWM, and Corrado's bright pianos really shines. The mood of the track reminds me - just a little bit - of "Genesis Ch. 1 V/:32" from Alan Parsons' "I Robot" album.

This one is definitely a melancholic work of traditional electronica, I can hear a touch of Anne Dudley's way too. Dedicated to the people of the Columbia who were longing to feel the majesty of space... a mission that turned into tragedy. I love the use of radio band frequencies as a message from mankind, still crossing the depths of space when the Earth has become a quiet place.

Reminds me of my own passion for astronomy in my childhood, particularly the gently pulsating intro atmosphere. Definitely a compact and dreamy piece of new age music with a strong groove and creative effect work during the tension breaks, keeping the attention.

This track is NOT identical with Jean Michel Jarre's tune with the same name :) I can hear more 70's Vangelis influences in some synth sounds, a definite Eastern touch in section, blended with Corrado's talents for neo classical play, a marvellous performance on piano again. Just as he would give that musical statement - the world is one.

And here's the arrival of Queenie's fantastic and soothing voice with almost medieval expression... besides the beautiful ambient touch I can hear just the original signature of a timeless dream chaser. "Afterlife" is a serious piece of music, NO pop, and I remember the day when I was speechless listening to Dob Russkin for the first time.

Another thoughful piece of "space music", inspired by attempts of men visting other worlds... there's a great soundtrack feeling, much tension on the bass parts, and some sections are very groovy - really good to dance along! I love the astronaut's voices, and the magic of some virtual studio technology Corrado did use here.

First and foremost - Corrado dedicated this piece to his song Davide, and so the music has a positive and bright mood... really similar to Vangelis' power on the great "Chariots of Fire", but in my opinion the structure of "Domani" is much more interesting. There are wonderful moments like sunrise, accompanied by touching cello parts.

Corrado mentioned the jazz flavour on this one... sounding personal, mixed with soundtrack elements, I particularly like the cool deep bass- as the really good variations, dramatic twists and some pieceful-twilight sections. A musical view of mid-europe in the 20th Century.

A wonderful soundtrack for my favourite season... and its colours of mystery. I like the flutes and the kind of synth wind... and with its catchy main motif this autumn tune would be best choice for chill out radio presence.

Not really meditative, more hypnotic, an aural delight with beautiful textures and another lovely piano main lines, and - typical Corrado! - developing more and more to a classical electronica work, with beautiful chords and powerful accents just at the right moments, plus soft, enjoyable percussion and a little Steve Winwood touch after 3 minutes.

The arrival of Augusto Chiarle and Roberto Canone on emotional saxophones, a beautiful soft piece, sensual jazz electronica, giving the sax performances enough space to weave the dream pictures for the listeners, subtly assisted by Corrado's beautiful synth vibes and grooves.

A return to a pure neo classical character... Corrado's solo piano shines, as the orchestration does too. This is piece without a groove, just so much heart. A heavenly end title, dedicated to the people in the artist's life...

It was really a pleasure for me to hold the beautifully designed boolet in my hands and to read Corrado's statements for each piece, and this album has personality and it's timeless - and the music doesn't cling on the fixed rules purists might expect of new age, ambient, classic, jazz. What you will get are 70 minutes of truly soulful, modern instrumental music with the help of those fine collaborators - Queenie, The Wimshurst's Machine, Augusto Chiarle and Roberto Canone.

Very sophisticated. Creates a good feeling in the listener. Recommended!

Brilliant - a place where talent, music and emotions come together
This CD shows wonderfull high level piano playing, combined with a variation of other "classical" instruments and intuitively used electronics.
All tracks are well built up and will keep you interested till the last second.

Music that will keep your emotions flow.
