Album Notes
Austin four-piece Cowboy Diplomacy, blending indie rock with southern blues. Their debut single "Follow Me," mastered by Howie Weinberg (The Wild Feathers, Wilco, Spoon), encourages listeners to make the most of each day they’re given.

“Follow Me” is the first of a number singles Cowboy Diplomacy plan to release throughout 2017. "This past year has been a big one for us,” says the band, “and we’re just beginning to hit our stride. “Follow Me” is the perfect song to come out of the gates with: it's a reflection on making the most of ourselves."

Cowboy Diplomacy is Ian Cochran (guitar, vocals), Brad Bentley (Bass), Zac Heckmann (lead guitar), and Matt Leslie (drums).

The four-piece formed a year ago in Austin, Texas, and their raw yet classic sound has quickly established the band as one-to-watch. Voted the December 2016 “Artist of The Month” on Austin Deli Magazine and featured last fall on Fox 7’s “Good Day Austin,” you can find Cowboy Diplomacy playing weekly at venues all over town including Stay Gold, South Congress Hotel, Handlebar, Speakeasy, and more. Lead singer Ian Cochran’s soulful, gravelly vocals leave a lasting impression, as does the heartfelt playing of this spirited four-piece.
