Album Notes
Coyote – A Different Path

Duluth, MN acoustic outfit Coyote consists of Jerree Small (Southwire) on guitar and vocals, Marc Gartman (Two Many Banjos, Fever Dream) on banjo and vocals and Matt Mobley (Southwire, Red Mountain) on upright bass. Formed in 2007 they have released four full length records including this new album 'A Different Path' to be released in January, 2019.

Produced by Steve Garrington (Low) with engineering and sonic surgery by Jake Larson, this new music comes after a six year break in recording for the band. In light of their recent celebration of ten years as a group, all three members have contributed original songs to this new effort making it their most collaborative recording to date. They also perform one cover, 500 Miles, by Hedy West.

Coyote recorded 'A Different Path' at Sacred Heart Music Center, a location they have used before. This time around they went for a more intimate sonic journey as opposed to being enveloped by the Church's majestic sound as they have in the past.

It's worth noting this record was paid for with a grant received from the Arrowhead Regional Arts Council. Some additional funding was provided from an online crowdsource campaign.

Coyote will perform two release shows this Winter. Friday January 11th, 2019 at the Aster Cafe in Minneapolis, MN with Timbre Ghost and Saturday January 12th, 2019 at Blush in Duluth, MN with Yester.
