Album Notes
With each stroke of the keys, the piano evokes nature to bend to its will. The wind, the trees, the oceans and seas fall into the spell of its majestic sounds; nature stands still in order to listen. Each note that is released is a step towards the greatest dance of souls. Dr. Charles Phillip's interpretations of Ludovic Lamothe's inspirations are unique. His vision allows him to be a conductor of the calmness it provokes within. The music tells a story of joy, mystic, complication, and love.

As the piano keys submit to the masterful movements of the fingers, the notes invade the auditory track to evoke relentless visions unique to the individual.
This magical journey takes us to a place only a few ever dare to travel. The Music of The Haitian Masters brought us to the hidden doorway in which dwelled some of Haiti's undiscovered treasures; however, this release is but a glimpse of one of the rarest jewels ever unearthed. Priceless as it may be, legendary will it become. Come, close your eyes, the journey can only be taken by your soul; for, the physical can only go so far.

Great and powerfull music
Hi Charles, I have intended to send a note before now but time seems to
have slipped away and I don't know where it has gone!
We did receive the CD and have played it over and over. We have had friends
come by while it is playing and ask, "what is that playing"? You sure do
have a style that is easy to listen to. I am not a music critic and know
nothing about it except for what I like. I like your CD! Marty comes from
a musical family and she was impressed. Thanks for telling me about it.

Master recording
Hi Charles,

I guess it is a common story to you regarding the quality of your CD. I think it is VERY WELL DONE and wonderful to listen to. I only received it yesterday, 13 days after the order, and I hope it is because they were processing thousands of orders. You have a tremendous talent Charles, I am proud of and for you. Good luck on future endeavors and if the quality of future work is equal to this effort, luck will not be a part of the equation. If you are keeping score, I am particularly impressed with track
3, 5, 12 and 11 in order of preference. That is not taking anything from the other tracks, but these strike my chords.

Good Luck,

Suzanne (mississippi)

Music of the sphere with haunting melodies.
I finally got the CD and could hardly wait to play it. . . it was well worth the wait!!!! I don't know why I enjoyed the CD so much. Charles, you are so talented! What a touch, What a talent!! Some of the music caused me to sit there
remembering other times when I was young and so caught up in love! I thinks the pieces I liked the best were number 3 and 4---Album Leaf 1 & 2 ( I think and I don't have the CD here in the room with me now.) I am sure Liz has you play for her every night. I know she feels very lucky to be married to such a talent! Some of the pieces had such haunting melodies and your playing brought out even more beauty in them. I wish I knew the right words to tell you how I enjoyed it. Maybe if I just said it touched me in so many ways.

My favorite piece is "Valse de Concert in Ab Major"
Dear Charles,

I received your CD on Monday. I have been enjoying it immensely. It is so beautiful. My favorite piece is "Valse de Concert in Ab Major", but they are
all so wonderful. I can't immagine what it must feel like to be able to write in music what a gifted writer struggles to capture in words and then the talent it takes to make that written page come to life for the rest of us to
enjoy!! Congratulations on such a wonderful success.

What a wonderful recording and performance!
Dear Charles,

What a wonderful recording and performance! You must be SO proud of this. I am ordering 3 more for Christmas presents for Amilda, Cindy and my friend Norine. How timely of the publisher to get them out just now in time for Christmas.
Jorge went out on Saturday and checked the mail, which I usually do, leaving me to do my work at home. When he got back, there was the CD in the stack of mail. We opened it at once and had such a treat listening to it. It is just beautiful. Thank you for doing such a thing.
I'm sure you've told me, but is there lots more of his music? Will you be recording more? I know it is time-consuming, but certainly worth the big effort.
Charles, I have to keep working, so no time for more. I just can't tell you enough how much I like the CD, just a breath of fresh air throughout our house, which is already full of fresh air. It made our Saturday afternoon so pleasant. MORE, MORE!!!

John (massachusetts)

and it is truly beautiful! We're surely glad you uncovered this music...
We got home from our 3+ weeks in Italy and Slovenia (and one day in Croatia) last nite, and were pleased to find the CD in the huge stack of mail. As I write this, it's playing on the computer...and it is truly beautiful! We're surely glad you uncovered this music...and did such a masterful job of playing it. Thank you so much for bringing such beauty into our lives.
While in Milan we got to a symphony concert at La Scala - the Opera orchestra, under the baton of music director (or whatever they call him) Richardo Muti. They played a Cherubini Mass, with chorus and several soloists, which is elegant. The main reason we went was to see La Scala,
and we got a great view since we were on the top level...6 flites up (pant, pant). Though a bit far from the orchestra and chorus, we were on the front row, so we had a wonderful view of all the proceedings. Great fun.
Ljubjana in Slovenia is a wonderful among our favorites, I think. And at present very inexpensive. Go there if you ever get a chance!
Now broke and a bit overweight, we'll stay home for a while!

This one of the most lovely collections of music I have ever heard
Charles - today it arrived! This is my second hearing and I think I must go for at least a third - it is magnificent. I shall buy one for my friend in Winnipeg. He will love it, too. While I am about it, I will buy one for his brother who was a music teacher and now plays organ in his church. And I must get one for my son and for son-in-law. I think it this one of the most lovely collections of music I have ever heard. Thank you for your most brilliant playing - and for all your hard work.

Fondly, Sue

The music is very soothing to my untrained ears
I was successful in Getting the arrived yesterday and I have been listening to it this morning. The music (so far) is very soothing to my untrained ears, and, of course, the playing is perfection.

This CD is a joy to listen to over and over.
My CD arrived yesterday, and I have played it no less than 3 times now! The pieces are well-played and Mr. Phillips projects so much feeling that this CD is a joy to listen to over and over.
I must add that I know Charles Phillips personally as he is my 16 year old son's piano instructor at our local college. He is a wonderful teacher as well as a great friend to us all. Yuma is greatly blessed to have him here!
