Album Notes
Time Traveler is a collection of guitar pieces inspired from various thoughts on a wide variety of themes and imagery. As mentioned above the pieces were recorded over a period of about three months, however they have been haunting my psyche for years. Many times I would return to some place in time where either in the real world, or in a dream through which I had passed... therefore the title “Time Traveler”. Life’s passages, whether real or imaginary, are the inspiration for all acts of creativity. Even the invention of new products, or the new designs of things we use in our daily lives, are the outgrowth of the same processes that influence literature, music and other arts. Each second, minute, hour, day, year and century offers up millions of links to tap into leading us to the place we call tomorrow. Life is spontaneous, and although we may seem to have and make plans... these are all coming to us at light speed over some invisible network. This "Chanel" is sort of like what we now call the "Internet", but it has been here since the beginning of time and is infinite. We “Google” it continuously every second of our day... awake or asleep through our minds, which are the authentic computers beyond all.

As described prior, pertaining my music, I try to create things “on the fly”, in what I call “Spontaneous Composition”, it’s enjoyable to improvise and just play and record what comes to mind at the time. One of the advantages of being alive today is the ability, through technology, to capture what you feel on some recording devise as it happens; rather than to have to labor over writing it all down as people have always had to do in the past. Of course there is still a place for writing music as such and I use to have to do that myself, but at least some of us can escape that nightmare today. Anyway, I can do this, so I’ll just stick to my guitar and consider it lucky. Thank you for checking things out and I hope something strikes a note of familiarity.
