Album Notes
The originals on this disc are all reflections of my life. "For JT" is dedicatedto my father, Jim Thomas, who was a great inspiration to me. EV is my wife Eve, without whom none of this would be possible. "Pastel" is a swinging minor blues. "Frankie and Johnny is my take on an old blues, done in the style of Ray Brown. "Psalm" is a reflection on King David, singing and playing. "You Don't Know What Love is" provides a vehicle for John Vanore and myself, "Barney" and "Xena' were cats of ours, both missed. "Angel Eyes" is a vehicle for the late Tom Giacabetti and myself. "Laverne Walk" is a special treat , featuring the great Eddie Gomez and I in a bass duet with Billy Jones joining us on drums.

Long-brewed music from a Philadelphia legend
At last! Craig Thomas is a legend in the City of Brotherly Love, and for good reason. I'm so happy to see him finally get a CD out there and canonize his talent in a physical keepsake. Highlights include his solo take on Franky & Johnny, and a stunning Angel Eyes featuring fellow Philly musician, guitarist Tom Giacabetti. Hightly recommended.
