ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
2018 has been quite an eventful year for Cris Law on an artistic as well as a personal level. Immediately after the digital release of his debut Baroque Album “Legacy”, he received word of his beloved mother’s cancer diagnosis and while the prospects don’t look hopeful, he is using this unforeseen tragedy to fuel his new work and passions in her honor.

With this news, came great sadness and profound empowerment as, within the same month, Cris witnessed “Crazy Rich Asians” blowing up in the landscape of film and Hollywood. With the rise of Asian Americans in pop culture, Cris, a solo artist and Asian American himself, feels it’s time to let it all out and unleash his love for Pop to the world. He needs to be creative and endure sadness head-on by producing head-bobbing melodies, honest lyrics, glitchy beats with a touch of synth-pop swagger.

While Cris has enjoyed performing the magnificent genre of Baroque music, he is looking forward to use the mainstream platform to discuss issues of the present, and uplift spirits. Follow @CrisLawMusic and get ready to witness/experience his anthemic 80s and 90s inspired Pop Singles in 2019!
