ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
A passionate songwriter, Crissie has music of every genre, but the majority of her catalog speaks to the country music lover. Her freshman Southen Gospel release, 'This Time,' was written with Mr. Gerald Smith who has penned hits for such artists as Lorrie Morgan and Collin Raye. Her upcoming country EP titled, "The Seed," has smooth, easy music and melodies that keep you coming back for more. The deep lyrics run through the heart of every listener. You don't have to listen long to understand that she IS a strong woman. She wrote what will be her first country release and the title track off her upcoming six song EP, 'The Seed.' Her favorite track on the EP, however, is titled 'The Girls From Mississippi.' The song is a heart tugging ballad written about her biggest influences... her mother and great aunt. Co-written with Mr. Shawn Pody, the song is sure to bring you back to your childhood. Having played with so many of the greats and the up-and-coming in the Nashville community, Shawn hits a home run with his production of this tune. Although many have encouraging things to say about Crissie's music, she just shakes her head and says, "Ya'll, I'm not that great at too many things.... I just love writing songs!"
