Album Notes
This album reflects the LIFE of TRI. and looks into the begining of the Crooked Man. Features include TWIZ, A.G. from D.I.T.C. crew as well as La'Reina. Produced entirely by T.R.I.C this is a cohesive set of songs put together to make a complete album. Standouts include "Rock Steady" a fast paced drum and synth track that will pull out the Break Dancer in all of us. Also the "The Life" ...a steady flow ...combined with a soft piano... brings to life issues on AIDS and living the fast life chorus goes; " Money moves fast, the jewels shine bright, the cars go past can't get up out the life it's the life."
A.G. lends his legendary vocals to PA TO BX which is a rugged track made in the true spirit of Hip Hop...a definite classic.
"Get to Steppin" which is another track with punching drums and a memory lane tale that will take you back to the carefree days of stunts, blunts and hip hop. TRIC'S vocabulary and word play remind you of Wu-Tang Clan's Ghostface Killah with the wittiness of Jadakiss(D-Block) but he creates his own niche taking elements from his own life experiences. This is what separates TRIC fom the pack he has the ability to express emotion through songs and the listner can grab that. "For the Record" which clears the air on rumors and reasons for his hiatus, shows a personal touch that only a genuine artsit can create andgive you. TRIC which stands for Total Rhyme InCarceraion is by far one of the most versatile artist in Hip Hop having underground roots he can give you that Boom Bap as well that Club Banger, having come to the hip hop game first as a DJ and back up dancer, he knows what will get the people moving. This is just the begining of a MC, Producer, Philanthropist and Entrepreneur's efforts to establish himself among the best in the game and solidify his spot in history.
