ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
After the Storm is the most personal of the Cross to Glory albums. The album came out of the tragic time when Chris Christenson's (singer/songwriter) 8 year old son battled with cancer and went to heaven. The center of the album is The Storm Trilogy. Into the Storm speaks of the reality that in this life we have storms and struggles, trials and tribulations but the Lord gives us courage and strength to endure. The Storm, like Job of the Old Testament, shares the conversation, the struggle that Chris, had with God in his wisdom allowing the suffering of his people. After the Storm is the peace that comes from trusting the Lord, that he is in control no matter what we face in this life.

On the album is the beloved Obi's Song (Praise You). That comes from a 8 year old who struggled with cancer and trusted that the Lord deserved all Praise no matter what.
