Lyrics:

Waiting alone at the side of the road
Which way to go I don’t know - guess I’m lost again
Looking for some kind of sign
Hope I’m not out of time

I never gave much thought to yesterday
Only tomorrow never today
I’m only livin’ on borrowed (4 count)…. time

Each single breath, each step that I take
Brings me a little bit closer to my final day
Reaching for some kind of line
Hope I’m not out of time
I never gave much thought to yesterday

Only tomorrow never today
I’m only livin’ on borrowed ... time

Waiting alone at the end of the road
Hoping that someone will take be back home again
Looking for signs of life
Hope I can find the light

I’m----------- livin’ I’m livin’ I’m livin’ on borrowed time

What influences his music?
"There are two types of music: music I like and music I don't like". This genre bending approach has exposed Curtis to an ocean of music. Distilled over time, this wide variety of influences has emerged and helped shape his unique musical voice. The vehicle of his musical expression is the guitar. Starting on classical guitar at the age of 11, Curtis has spent his life dedicate to learning, creating and pushing the boundaries of the instrument and his music. To the new listener his guitar driven music sounds like Rock but quickly the currents of Jazz, Blues, Surf, and Country can be heard along with the common thread that ties them all together: great melodies, virtuosity, and soulful playing.

Curtis Fornadley was selected as one of 10 finalists in Guitar Player Magazine’s "Guitar Superstar 2007" competition.
