Album Notes
On April 24, 2014, a group of passionate lovers of Jesus assembled at the Livery in Lexington, KY, for an evening of worship. With roughly 250 people in attendance, the atmosphere was both intimate and exciting. The evening was a culmination of a series of prayer and worship gatherings known as "Nightwatch," which had begun in a beautifully supernatural way the year before. A "random" night of worship was planned at a house near the University of Kentucky's campus, and to everyone's surprise almost 100 people came out on a Friday night (mostly college students), cramming their way into a refinished garage.

Acts 17:24 tells us that "God does not dwell in temples made by man," but there are certainly times when His presence becomes more unavoidable than others. God's presence in that garage gave birth to more nights of abandoned praise, and the result was spontaneous, unscripted lyrics and melodies. Several of these songs were later remembered and further developed by Curt Vernon and Julie Futch. This live album combines those unplanned moments of adoration and other moments that have flowed out of Curt and Julie's prayer closets. The desire is to see God-birthed, Spirit-empowered, Christ-exalting, Word-renewing revival sweep through Lexington, KY, leaving in its wake a lasting and undeniable change in the city and the church.

The Livery was the perfect venue for this recording. With a "barn stable meets modern industrial" vibe, the historic building feels like an introduction between a memorable past and a hopeful future. After the last song was sung and the last string of lights flickered off, we were so thankful to have captured the audio of such an unforgettable night - one representing a privileged season of watching God do "what only the divine can do."
