ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This album had its genesis more than 10 years ago. I’ve attended several motivational seminars and workshops where a lot of positive, upbeat music is played, especially at Anthony Robbins events.

Inspired, I decided that one day, I would write lyrics to songs that I find inspirational, motivational and encouraging. Of course years passed before I did anything about it. As I explain to my clients, it wasn’t my Next Best Step.™

Then, in December 2009, I launched a new program called My Best Year Ever™ which now has an iPhone and iPad
application of the same name. Because I walk the talk, I created my new year’s resolutions for 2010 that included
“become more artistic and creative.” One of the ways I singled out to achieve this goal was to re-write lyrics to popular songs to inspire, motivate and lead my clients to positive action and successful outcomes. It all started with The Exponential Mindset, a re-make of Will Smith’s Miami song. I am not sure why I picked this one other than his original lyrics ‘spoke to me’ and reflected the positive ‘momentum’ anchor I wanted.

It took me two full days at the beach matching up syllables and coming up with rhymes that made sense while still sounding good. It was quite the challenge, but a creative endeavor that I thoroughly enjoyed.

With the lyrics written, I needed to get someone to create an instrumental track as well as sing the song. Trust me,
you don’t want to hear me sing, let alone rap!

I’ve been using www.Guru.com for more than 5 years to get a wide range of services performed – audio transcriptions (from Trinidad and Tobago), graphic design (USA), research and writing (USA and Pakistan), data analysis (India), telemarketing database updates (Russia, Greece and the UK) just to name a few. So I posted a project on Guru.com to produce and record the song. That’s how I got in contact with Matthew Means of Listen Vision Studios. Matt found Rasi Caprice and Scotty Beam to sing and produce the song respectively.

Once I received their first recording, I was blown away by Rasi’s vocal talent and Scotty’s top production quality. I was
hooked and decided to re-write 3 other songs. Within 3 months it was all done and my first album was complete! But I didn’t have a name for the ‘group’. I didn’t want to be the ‘headliner’ – that would not be fair to Rasi Caprice who is an exceptional talent. I needed to create a group – one that can change and evolve for different styles and artists.

That’s when the epiphany occurred… I was presenting a workshop called “Slide Rule Thinking In the Internet Age” to engineers in Newcastle, just north of Sydney, Australia. One of the participants, David England, came up with a joke to a concept that I was explaining “…how getting on Curve A creates extra-ordinary results by doing out-of-the-
ordinary things…” to which he replied “Does that mean when you’re on Curve A, you’re Curvaceous?” That was it! The name of the group – Curve-A-Ceous!

It’s fun, different and independent of me personally, but reflects a core principle I teach my clients as The Exponential Growth Strategist. It all fits.

So there you have it – the story of Curve-A-Ceous’ beginnings and the first album “Exponential” featuring Rasi Caprice performing The Exponential Mindset, Ka-Ching!, The Exponential Growth Strategist and World Wide Web.

I hope you enjoy listening to the songs on this album as much as I did creating them for you.

I want to leave you with one message. I “walk the thought” – the Exponential Mindset Thinking™ that I teach my clients to help them grow their businesses. This album is one of the many projects that have been created as a result of not just determining an outcome, but doing whatever it takes to get it accomplished. I hope you enjoy listening to the songs on this album as much as I did creating them for you.

I "walk the thought" – the Exponential Mindset Thinking that I teach my clients to help them grow their businesses. This album is one of the many projects that have been created as a result of not just determining an outcome, but doing whatever it takes to get it accomplished.

The lesson here is that you need to follow your dreams and passions, tap into your creativity and feel the excitement it creates within you. You’ll realise that it’s not only more enjoyable, but much more productive state of mind. By so doing, you’ll enter the world of Boundless Opportunity Thinking™ that will influence everything you do, feeding and fuelling your spirit and soul to achieve serenity and peace that can only be obtained when you have balance and equilibrium within your mind, body and spirit. Enjoy and keep pushing yourself and your results…

Instrumentals –

The instrumental tracks to the 4 songs are included so you can play them when journaling or working on a project that requires your total focus and attention. Sometimes, having some “non-vocal” music removes noise interruptions because your brain recognises the melody and enters a trance-like state with the positive anchors of the lyrics being reinforced without distracting you.

Onward and upward!
