Cybéle is a lounge singer/pianist who has been performing cover songs from all genres for years. Likewise, she writes many different styles, letting each song stand on it's own. "Sweet Surrender" was originally written as a custom tailored song for a beverage commercial with specific instructions. Ultimately, the song was not chosen for the commercial campaign, so Cybéle released it independently.
