Album Notes
I started studying shamanism in the late eighties of the last century, influenced by teachers from different traditional cultures. Sometimes the listener will be reminded of the sound of Native American Indians, the nomadic Sami from Northern Scandinavia, or Siberian Shamans. All the teachers who welcomed me in their homes and ceremonies have influenced me in some way, and gradually my own style of singing crystalized. Distinctly shamanic, a human sound - not bound to or defined by a specific culture or time. My singing still changes slowly over the years, and this is how it sounded in the late nineties.
