Album Notes
From barbecue dives in Mississippi to Paris, France, Daddy Mack Blues Band has entertained audiences with their contagious brand of urban blues. Led by singer/guitarist Mack Orr, this four-piece band is one of the hottest blues acts Beale Street has ever seen. According to Living Blues magazine, fix it when I can is "a solid, no-thrills set that doesn't need any fixing." A night's performance is sure to include Daddy Mack walking through the audience with his wireless remote playing guitar licks while his sweat drips onto the shoes of hollerin' blues fans. Recorded in Memphis, fix it when I can captures the energy and funk of a band ready to perform. Their credits include a dynamic performance at the 2000 King Biscuit Blues Festival as well as a featured song in the upcoming movie Main Stream. From Blues Revue magazine: "Orr knows how to work a groove...a great bluesman...a thoroughly enjoyable disc..."
