Album Notes
Dale Brown performs a mixed variety of original tunes, ranging from sanctified blues to toe-tapping southern gospel. A funky blend of acoustic guitars, bluesy vocals and harmonica, mixed with electric bass and some unusual percussion toys. Many of the instrumentals have been used as background sound in numerous televisions shows. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest of the U.S. he had his first guitar at seven years old. He played music in Alaska for a number of years then he and his wife bought a sailboat and spent a summer sailing from Valdez to Seattle. There he was encouraged by radio and television producer Dennis Feten to get more serious about his talent. "Beware of Dogs" launched him into a new realm of his art. Being a painter and sculptor he has learned to apply this talent with sound in a digital world. Much of this collection was recorded and mixed aboard a 42 foot sailboat while living near Seattle. http://dalebrownstudio.blogspot.com/
When not playing gospel with some church group he can be seen mixing it up at fancy wineries in the rich grape growing region of Washington state where you might be reminded that the first miracle of Jesus was turning water into wine.
