Album Notes
Dale Evans Swan has been writing songs for over 45 years and this first album is a retrospective of some of those efforts. The songs on this album vary from rather simple contemporary folk songs to blues and a number of love songs, some with a country sound. Most of the songs are personal, ranging from unrequited love songs from Swan's youth to a song about riding his favorite horse, Strike. The album was produced by Kelly Mulhollan, and he and his wife, Donna, provide instrumental accompaniment and back-up vocals on many of the songs. Dale's daughter, Michelle, a singer/songwriter in her own right, provides back-up vocals on two of the tracks.
