Album Notes
From the ethereal stop you in your tracks cover of John Gorka's "Let Them In" to his laugh out loud look at love on the internet in "The Yahoo Song" and "Analog Man", Dale's debut CD takes a musical journey through childhood memories, love lost and found, and an occasional humorous side trip to life here and now in the digital age.

Dale Marsh was born in rural West Texas close to the New Mexico border and came into this world in a pair of faded Wrangler jeans, some crazy shirt and high top shoes. Rumor has it his mother slapped him before the doctor had a chance to. "Mom used to hang out at Waylon Jennings's house when they were all in high school together so maybe that's how this all got started."
Some of Dale's musical influences were The Byrds, Jackson Browne, John Prine, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Joni Mitchell, Towns Van Zandt, James Taylor, David Wilcox and all those folks writing and performing music that expected you to take a look at the world around you as well as what's inside your heart. This becomes evident when listening to the lyrics of Dale's songs that sometimes have you laughing out loud one moment or pulling at your heart the next.

These days, Dale can still be found in faded Wrangler jeans and crazy shirts making fans and playing wherever people gather to hear contemporary folk music be it coffee house, house concert or campfire.

Best Contemporary Folk I've heard in years!
I friend had introduced this CD to me weeks ago. I'm unable to take it out of the CD player in my truck. It's that good. Contemporary Folk has finally made a come back with this CD. I strongly suggest it to all who want's a feel good drive to anywhere.

Beautifully Poetic!
This CD is awesome! There are a wide variety of songs to suit ANYONE's taste! From funny songs, to cheerful songs, to sad songs, and love songs. Each one is beautifully recorded! I have given multiple people this CD as a gift and they always ask me about the artist and when his next CD is coming out. EVERYONE I know LOVES it. YOU WILL TOO!

A real delight and a nostalgic journey.
Aside from the mellow phrasing and skilled musical backup, the enjoyment of this CD is in its universality. The message of each song is personal, nostalgic, and touches the memories. All really good music finds an easy pathway to the listener's heart. Once there, Dale Marsh's music finds a warm and genuine welcome.
