Album Notes
"The Truth" is exactly that. This album is minimalist and real without all of the studio tricks that appear on various recordings. The vocals intertwine lyrical content that is relevant and poignant in today's time. The title song for the album "The Truth" takes you down to Mississippi with a slide guitar that puts you in the middle of the Mississippi Delta.
This album has 12 songs on it that dramatically differ from each other. Each song lives on it's own and carries it's own message and energy.
There are two treatments on the album, one was written and performed by the amazing Jimi Hendrix. One of his most popular pieces "The Wind Cries Mary". The other treatment is a completely reharmonized and rearranged version of Smokey Robinson's "My Girl".
This Album will take you places, from the sea that floats you through the first song "Breeze" to the desert dryness of "Mother Nature".
If you ever need to take a long drive, this is the record you would like to have with you. Every song as something different and will stimulate your intellect in varying ways.
"The Truth" has been said by others to set you free, and upon listening you may find yourself going to another pleasant place in your mind.
