Album Notes
Dance At Your Own Risk started in 2013 with one iPad and a desire to write original music. Since that time, I have programed various iPad music apps to create an environment where people with disabilities can record original songs and perform music live in a group setting using four iPads. I have worked with 14 program participants at Achieve Services, Inc. (a day training and habilitation program located in Blaine, MN) to help them write and record over 45 original songs. I also worked with 15 Bridges Transition High School students (located in Andover, MN), helping them write original music, perform a live show, and have their performance featured on a CD. Dance At Your Own Risk has now put out 5 CDs, performed 7 live shows, been featured in the Minneapolis Star Tribune, and been on the radio 3 times. This has been one of the most satisfying experiences of my career!
