ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Daniel Balthasar is one of the most prolific songwriters in Luxembourg.
By 2017, he will have released 6 full-length albums and 2 EPs in 14 years as a solo-artist.

He recorded in the most renowned studios across Europe, from Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios to Wisseloord in the Netherlands and the legendary Abbey Road Studios in London.

Together with his band, he played numerous concerts in Europe and abroad: from small stages to big festivals, from Luxembourg to the Popkomm in Berlin, from club-gigs in Belgium and Germany to the South-by-Southwest Festival in Austin/Texas where he was the first luxembourgish musician to be invited to perform in 2006.

He wrote the music for the fireworks for national holiday in 2011, sang with the OPL in 2012 and wrote the score for the most successful independent movie of recent national history, Heemwéi, in 2014.

In his ongoing career, Daniel Balthasar has always tried to outrun himself by setting new standards for his creative work. His upcoming album is in the same tradition as it will be the first luxembourgish pop- rock album released in 5.1 surround sound.
