Album Notes
"Danielle uses language beautifully, smiles like the sun, and chooses her stories very, very carefully, so they fit her like a glove...You can tell she loves the tales she tells, and that is what gives them that extra polish, and makes them shine."
- Csenge alka (International Storyteller and Founder of the Holnemvolt Storytelling Festival, Hungary)

Hilarious, warm, occasionally heartbreaking- live storytelling at its best
Danielle Bellone's live storytelling recording is just plain awesome. This was my first adventure in listening to a storytelling CD, and I was captivated in a way that I was not expecting. I was blown away by the range of emotions she was able to elicit in me with the different tracks. From the hilarious personal anecdote "Indian Princesses" to the rhythmic, sorrowful, I-don't-even-know-how-to-explain-what-this-poem-stirred-up-in-me "Tuesday and the Swamp Lady," Danielle Bellone is a master at what she does: tell stories that you simply have to listen to. Minor complaint: I got so wrapped up in the fairy tale "The Light Princess" that I cried a little, which made me feel like a total sissy.
