Album Notes
Daniel M. P. Shaw is an established singer-songwriter mixing different musical styles and traditions, but with a folky element to most things he does. In addition to his solo career, he is a member of indie folk rock band, The Flocking Murmuration and formerly a member of world-pop-folk trio Tiger the Lion.

On 1st January 2017, Dan set himself a challenge - to write a song every day for a whole year. This album is the fifth collection of those songs - days 41 to 53 of the "A Song, A Day, A Year" project. It includes new additions to his ongoing suite of personal 'heart songs' , folk-rock song-meditations on birds, bluesy keyboard pieces, piano protest-ballads, a capella trance and one of the shortest songs ever recorded. 50% of all proceeds go to a variety of worthy causes.
