Album Notes
This is the Eighth album released under Danny Bedrosian's name. Songs For a Better Tomorrow is thirteen plus years in the making in the studio over various sessions, thematically conceptualized by Bedrosian and featuring his keyboard wizardry, rare piano virtuosities, his lead vocals, and swelling backup vocal beds, rollicking synth basses, screaming lead synth solos, pulsating wah clavs, and soaring rhodes beds. The album also features contributions from Dwayne Dungey, Belita Woods, Deryl Spielman, Marc Munoz, Steve Boyd, Jr., Lige Curry, David Cobb, Sean Gorman, Rico Lewis, Chris "Citrus" Sauthoff, Michael "Clip" Payne, Nick Groff, David Kelsay, Jon Picken, Michael Maloney, and more!!

Recorded over a period of thirteen years, and recorded across the world, Bedrosian's third solo album (and, including his Secret Army albums, the ninth album in his name) this album promises to be one of the most diverse, one of the funkiest, and one of the most sprawling, in musical terms. A number of Bedrosian's P-Funk cohorts appear on this album, as well as Secret Army and Somn' Fierce alumni, former members of Sweet Motha Child, Liquid Sand Band, The Soular System, and many others from the BOZFONK MOOSICK banner. Even musical collaborator Nick Groff contributes compositional duties on the pop influenced "Closer to the End", as does the sadly late Miss Belita Woods (of Brainstorm and P-Funk fame) on arrangement duties on the introduction/title track.

Songs such as P-Ramids, The Bozfonk Hump (both versions), Snot from the Duck's Bill and Clam Dunk are funk thrillers, full of all the sounds and concepts, feels, grooves, good times and knowledge of the P-Funk's finest are resplendent on these jams. Fellow P-Funk band members Lige Curry, Rico Lewis, Michael "Clip" Payne, and the aforementioned Woods appear on this album. In addition, pivotal P-Funk staff, crew, alumni staffers, and studio team members appear on the album as well, such as Dwayne Dungey, Deryl Spielman, Marc Munoz, Steve Boyd, Jr., (check out his and Bedrosian's team up on "Bardez"), Chris "Citrus" Sauthoff, and others.

Bedrosian offers even his fellow Armenians a respectful nod, as in the album closer "Karmir Tsagik", and the aforementioned "Bardez". Indeed, Bedrosian's Armenian roots are felt and fused with his Funk, Classical and Jazz sensibilities and upbringings on tunes such as "Urha".

Bedrosian's instrumental "Snack" is an epic electronic tour-de-force, and the sensitive leanings on "Meet me there sometime", "Walking in the Rain", and "No one in the World" are touching R&B and Jazz leaning groovers. In Bedrosian's "Deuces Pig-Sow" we meet another character in Bedrosian's zany world, not unlike Harvey Cream Frame, The Piatek and others, this character promises to exemplify the cartoon mind that IS Bedrosian's soundscape of funky synth madness.

Danny Bedrosian's newest album SONGS FOR A BETTER TOMORROW is the finest new BOZFONK album out right now; Check it out for yourselves!
