Album Notes
Rockabilly Hall of Fame Legend ,Danny Mote built his own recording studio, Crystal Sound Recording Studio, in 1976 after coming off the road playing gigs across the country. He recorded this Crying Eyes Album during the days and played six nights a week at the Holiday Inn in Atlanta Ga. A single was released with Crying Eyes on side A and River Queen on side B. The album had a total of 12 original songs. It got lots attention on radio stations and across the country, but might have been a little before time with it's country rock style. But the time is right for these great songs now. The style comes from many great artist and songs recorded through the years . In 1961 Billy Rae Cyrus released a song Called "She's Not Crying Anymore". The melodies were almost identical. Danny file a lawsuit against Billy Rae Cyrus, Buddy Cannon, Pollgram Music, Mecury Records and others for copyright infringement. Meanwhile "She's Not Crying Anymore" climed to #2 on the charts. It was released on the "Some Gave All" Ablum and was Cyrus's second single release with "Acky Breaky Heart" being his first. In the spring of 1993, Danny was offer a fairly good settlement, and chose to settle the suit out of court. Get your copy for hours of enjoyment and add an album you will cherish to your collection of original music.
