Album Notes
Only a select group of singers project likability and connect with the listener through their voice alone. Fewer still have the vocal acumen to tickle the listener's fancy on every track and hold your interest on replays. With the release of this CD, DANNY SATIN (aka Joe Settineri) is swiftly establishing himself in that company, as a high quality recording artist and entertainer, as well as an author in his compelling new novel entitled, SECOND BANANA.

On the entertainment side, whether it be Big Band, Pop, Blues or Jazz, Danny naturally fine tunes his vocals to create a unique experience for his audiences. Roll Of The Dice, his first full length CD, is Danny’s latest creative vehicle. Designed to please his growing core of fans and to touch a broader base through internet distribution.

According to Danny, “Design is an apt description for this CD project. From the song selections, to carefully choosing the fresh, expansive arrangements, to crafting the vocal phrasings. This disk was both a passion and a labor of love. My goal was to challenge myself; ride the octaves up and down within the arrangements. Oh, and have a bit of fun with it too. Keep it breezy, and put a smile on your face when you press play."

Although He always had music in his life, with his Dad a violinist and several relatives that were jazz musicians, it was the writing of the Novel that motivated him to launch his singing career. The Book, about a down on his luck entertainer who was once an opening act for top celebrities in the Vegas of the 1960’s, became the backdrop for his unique, themed show. On stage, Danny combines dramatic readings from the Novel with performing songs of that era. Cabaret audiences have described the show as Captivating and his vocal range as Impressive.

As Danny observes “I started out a little late in this business but I’m making up for lost time now. I truly hope you enjoy the CD and consider seeing the show and picking up a copy of the book. Just click the web site on the very bottom left for Book Sales. See below for show dates. And always remember: YOU’RE BETTER THAN YOU KNOW.”

When you listen to this CD, I'm confident you will share the view that DANNY SATIN is a charming surprise and in the upper tier of Cabaret singers and stylists.

Danny's vocals are phenomenal. The only thing better is seeing him live.
Danny puts together a great collection of tunes. From the upbeat That old Black Magic, to the Bluesy EEE-O-Eleven, to the romantic ballad What Kind of Fool Am I, he delivers passion in each song. The selections in this CD shows the maturity of his vocals and the range which Danny has. I recommned it for those who love the Rat Pack, romantic ballads, and for those who just love an eclectic selction of music.
