ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
DANNY WHITE (singer/songwriter/guitarist) is a soulful singer and storyteller from Matawan, New Jersey, with a cool voice and lyrics that will make you rise to your feet to sing as well as make you think. He has captured fans all along the eastern seaboard with two self produced albums and now is poised to break nationwide (and most likely worldwide) with his new Blue Room Sessions CD. Produced by Mike Wanchic, John Mellencamp's long time producer/guitarist and band leader, and backed by members of Mellencamp's band, these new songs show White's depth of songwriting and talent in astounding fashion. Mastered and mixed by lengendary engineer Shelly Yakus, best known for his work with John Lennon, U2 & Tom Petty, these tracks explode out of your speakers. The Blue Room Sessions was recorded & mixed in New York City, Bloomington, Indiana and Southern New Jersey and has been receiving rave reviews.

Taking time to give back to his community, White is of a special breed of musicians. He has been involved in many different charities and has donated his musical skills to help others. Two of the most prominent organizations are the Parkinson's Disease Foundation (PDF), as well as, Musicians On Call (MOC), a music therapy program for child cancer patients at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. White has donated countless hours of his time to give back to those in need. He has performed at benefits with Bruce Springsteen, a fellow PDF/MOC member, in addition to giving guitar lessons to sick children at the hospital.

Danny White is a humble musician and likes to say that "I hope that the music speaks for itself". His fans on the other hand, want nothing more than even greater success for the Matawan rocker. White has a heart of gold and lyrics and music that will make you feel the soul of the story being told.
