ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Dan River Girls are three sisters from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Fiona, 16, plays mandolin and cello; Ellie, 14, plays double bass; and Jessie, 11, plays classical violin and fiddle. They sing three-part harmony and play a mix of Scottish and traditional fiddle tunes, acoustic pop songs, swing, and Americana music. O.Henry Magazine just named them one of "the next wave of contenders": "The Burdette sisters. . .will one day be huge. . .Wait and see — huge."
