Album Notes
"Really Good.... I've got Goose-Bumps!" says DJ Sam Stagmorgen from Bern's Radio RaBe. "Simply Fantastic!" says Christoph Pauli of Switzerland. "Catchy as hell!" says US singer-songwriter Beth Wimmer. All that and more is true of the great new album from UK singer-songwriter Dan Ward.

Travel, love, life and politics - many different themes intertwine to make his great new album "Lost & Found": a powerful collection of folk/rock songs, influenced by the likes of Eddie Vedder, George Ezra, Jack Johnson, Johnny Cash and Avicii. The album provides echoes of the sea in "Take Me Far From Here", "The Rolling Waves" and "The Crystal Sea", whereas tracks 3, 7, 9, 12 and 13 all speak to campaigners for social justice. Many of the other songs concern the ups and downs of intimate relationships, with the exception of the medievally-themed "The Executioner" - a song for the Game of Thrones generation.

All the songs were written, recorded and produced by Dan himself, with the exception of: violin recordings on tracks 1, 5, 10, 14 and 15 by Michael Adagio Dicht; backing vocals on tracks 1, 7, 11 and 12 by Beth Wimmer; wind sound on track 6 by Mark DiAngelo on soundbible.com; gong on track 2 by Dianake on soundbible.com, and; bells on track 2 by freesound.org/clubsound. Dan hopes that you like the songs - and if you do, please get in touch with him!
