ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Dan Westmoreland is a singer/songwriter who has been working as church musician in the Minneapolis area for more than 40 years. In his work he has counseled and guided numerous grieving families in the planning of meaningful and healing memorial services. His music has been described as thoughtful, sensitive and spiritual. One of his most difficult planning times was for the funeral of his beautiful nice and God-daughter, Kristina Westmoreland, who was killed in an automobile accident. Shining Stars, Guiding Hope was written in her memory.

He has performed two of his songs: "Walk in the Light" and "Shining Stars Guiding Hope" at the Compassionate Friends National Conference in Minneapolis MN in July 2011.

He has sung his song "The Empty Bowl" at numerous Empty Bowl fundraising events.

His song, Walk in the Light has been used at Relay for Life walks.

All three songs are available through this web site.
