Album Notes
TISHAMBA-X, BORN SHAWN WILLIAMS ON MAY 28th, 1975, grew up in a house with a single mother and five siblings. He also has five half brothers by his father. During Shawn\'s youth he went through many changes. For one he began studying the Bible and he even experienced a little bit of the Muslim culture. This is how his performing name evolved. The name Tishamba was created by his older brother, \"X\" is what he got from Malcolm-X who was a Muslim. Shawn who in a recent interview said \"singing came as an inspiration and vision from Jah Rastafari (GOD).\" He was then given the title Da Prophet. Today his is known as DA PROPHET TISHAMBA-X.
