ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Interesting repertoire recorded on historical guitar and fortepiano from the 19th century. Well received in classical music magazines in Japan. ‘Very enjoyable album’ ‘rich in sonority’ – “Record Geijutsu”, ‘guitar and piano are in good chemistry in old instruments’ – “Entrée”, ‘an album that you can enjoy good old sound’ –“Gendai Guitar”. After nine years of playing together, performing concerts in Italy, the Netherlands, England and Japan, this long awaited album is finally available.
Enjoy the beautiful effect of this special combination of two classical instruments played by two passionate performers.
Beautifully made original booklet with newly written article ‘Duos for guitar and fortepiano’ by a musicologist Jelma van Amersfoort in English with Japanese translation, photos of instruments and performer taken by Edith Paol. Made in Holland, released in October 2013 in Japan at a concert tour.
