Album Notes
Darkpark is an alternative rock band currently breathing and making its unique music in Vermont. Guitarist singer songwriter Larry Flynn is the artist who animates darkpark. Mr. Flynn has lived in Vt. for several years since migrating from California. He has has performed throughout Vermont and the northeast. He creates unusual, emotionally charged songs that draw on influences as diverse as Robert Johnson, Neil Young and the Grateful Dead to the Smiths, U2 and the Libertines. This hybrid manifests itself in warm, intimate vocals and intelligent, emotional and sometimes slightly coded lyrics.

"Sounds like indie darlings the Shins recast as tie dyed buskers..."

Highly Unusual, Highly Recommended.
This is one of my favorite albums. The sound is atmospheric and often hypnotic. The lyrics are deep, and they're as striking as the sound. Flynn's vocals, sometimes reminscent of Donovan's work in "Catch the Wind", fit the work perfectly. This album is a gem.
