Album Notes
Scott met Mark when he was working for the county's library system when he got out of college. A year or two later, he mentioned that he had written some songs with another friend, Kevin, and asked for help recording them. The three of them got together in Scott's bedroom, with an organ & two synthesizers playing through a small guitar amp, and recorded two songs on Mark's boombox, Birthday Blue (I Cried For You) and Working For The New Police State. They later moved to the basement, and wrote & recorded a bunch of other material. Over the years, they managed to stay in contact (& keep writing songs), and have found that the internet is a great tool for enabling them to collaborate without regard to the distance between them. They finished a four-song EP, Vale Of Tears, in January of 2004. The new album recorded in a Western Pennsylvania Hi Tech Studio was released near the end of 2010. It's called MESH. Dark Victory is augmented by great musicians who live in far flung places like California, DC and New York City. They are called The Usual Suspects.

Creative Work, Impressive Lead Vocals, Fantastic Music!
Songwriters/Bandmembers Scott Barton Kevin Dallas and Mark Yanko are a force to be reckoned with as they come together and turn out an impressive album! My favorite tune is 'Met a Girl' [feat. Lija Di Vincenzo], I promise you, I could totally hear this song in a movie track! Creative choruses, lyrics, and lead vocals that are in a league all their own. I think many will be surprised just how much they will enjoy this cd! Good job, guys. Proud of you Uncle Michael!
