Album Notes
"These Are The Days" includes songs that several of you have wanted me to record for quite a while, so as you listen (and sing along), I hope and pray that you encounter the Lord in a very personal and powerful way. He alone holds the power to save, heal, restore, love and redeem us. So may you joyfully sing, dance, celebrate, worship and embrace the magnificent life you have in Christ!

To everyone reading this, may you always keep God #1 in your life and be passionate about doing so because "These Are The Days" that we as Christians must be a light in the darkness, a light shining out to make a difference in the world!

About Darla Day:

Darla Day is a worship leader and independent Christian singer/songwriter from Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Her hometown of Albany, Kentucky was center stage for this small town girl until moving to Bowling Green to attend WKU in 1992. In the earlier days, Darla alongside her sister, Ginger, and other friends frequently performed at churches and community events throughout the region.

Since the age of four, her parents, Jack and Pat Pierce, as well as other family and friends have encouraged Darla to lift her voice to the heavens. Raised in a Christian home, Darla never knew what it was like to be without God in her life, and over time, having matured in her faith, Christ has truly become "real" to her. Darla's day-to-day commitment has led her to fall more deeply in love with Jesus Christ and has given her a passion to reach the lost with His transforming gospel message.

Over the years, Darla has occupied several positions in the fields of music and broadcasting. While earning her bachelor's degree in broadcasting at Western Kentucky University, Darla worked at Nashville's Benson Records in the Promotions Department and as a radio disc jockey at several Bowling Green stations.

Today, Darla continues to pursue various opportunities in music. Recent projects include voice overs, jingles and background vocals for numerous recording projects and demos. Darla served as Assistant to the Worship Pastor at Living Hope Baptist Church in Bowling Green for 7 years and is now a stay at home mom.

In 2001, Darla (Pierce) married Chad Day. The couple has one son named Jenson Elijah.
