ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The debut song from "The Livermores", a soon-to-be released pocket opera written and performed by Darren Gordon Smith, co-creator of Repo! The Genetic Opera. In a dark, smoke-filled study, a scientist broods with a jug of muscatel and some scratchy old 78s, while next door his obese wife frets over radiation lurking in the soil below. Darren composed and produced the track, and sings, plays piano, acoustic bass guitar, and plays trumpet. Recorded by Zach Kasik, sound editing by Sean Lacefield, and mixed by Chris Spilfogel.
