ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Glorify is the sophomore album from independent artist Darren Sanchez. The album is a contemporary Christian record which explores a variety of production influences from 80s & 90s pop, country, ballad, and modern electronic pop. The 12-track album is written by Darren Sanchez based on his personal experiences and beliefs, and Scripture-based verses. Production, arrangement and instrumentations were done by Darren Sanchez. Mixing and mastering was done by Shadiel Chan from Open Heaven Studios. (Additional vocals and instrumentations were noted on per track details.)

"This Is Who God Is" is a 80s inspired CCM song written about God's identity. The song is a result of a youth devotion of the first chapter of Genesis.

"Mountains" is a electro-pop record derived from Psalms 121, one of the song of ascents. (Featuring musician: Jonathan Ramilo - Synthesizers)

"Glorify" is a mix of contemporary blues, country and pop. The song tells about being one in the bond of Christ. The bridge was derived from Ephesians 4:1-6 with similar inspiration from Mandisa & TobyMac's "Bleed the Same". (Featuring musicians: Kevin John Garcia - Lead Guitars, Shadiel Chan - Guitars)

"Come To You" is a pop-country track which is a back-to-back experience of relentless redemption and action to praise. (Featuring musician: Elijah Cruda - Bass, Hand claps, Drums, Guitars, Synthesizers)

"There Is Power" is a power ballad about Christ's power, passion and love depicted through His crucifixion and resurrection. (Featuring musician: Isaiah John Tobias - Vocals, Shadiel Chan - Lead Guitars, Kevin Joseph Garcia - Lead Guitars)

"Hoo Hoo Tatata" is a country song infused with nostalgic guitar intro and Crowder-inspired electro-folk bridge. The song talks about us being the sheep and Christ as our shepherd and defendant. The lyrics are inspired from John 10:1-18.

"Breath of Your Spirit" deals about accepting the Holy Spirit and experiencing mercy and grace. The pop produced song is inspired by Bethel's "You Make Me Brave" and Carrie Underwood's "Something in the Water".

"You Make Me Feel Alive" is a ballad from Sanchez's early songwriting. The ballad is a crossover of Christian theme and romantic songwriting. (Featuring musician: Isaiah John Tobias - Backing vocals)

"Relentless" is a song of redemption and the relentless love of Christ. The song talks about the storyteller's salvation and acceptance of call to pursue the great commission. (Featuring musician: Shadiel Chan - Synthesizers)

"Rejoice! (Say It Again)" is a vocal collaboration singing about Philippians 4:4-7. The record is an electro-pop track dashed with repetitive hooks and synth-based instrumentation. (Featuring musician: Kalvin Mikko Cuerbo - Vocals, Shadiel Chan - Synthesizers)

"Choose to Love" is a ballad track which talks about the call to share the love and to oppose the negativity in this world. (Featuring musician: Isaiah John Tobias - Backing vocals)

"Still" is the closing track of the album which affirms the storyteller that his belief is not superficial and deeply rooted. The track is a country-inspired ballad which seals the deal of the album.
