Album Notes
Darwin Jones started playing the piano at the age of six, he also played the violin in grammar school . Darwin attended Booker T. Washington high school where, he played the french horn in the band. He sang and played in a group called the Gems, he also played with Charlie Wilson in the high school talent shows (High Jinks). Darwin formed a band called Program. Later he received a call from Charlie Wilson inviting him to come to California. There he began recording with Sly Stone, DJ Rodgers and Ike Turner. Darwin later came back to his Gospel roots. Darwin is the father of five children. Darwin also produces CDs for other artists. Darwin was influenced by Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and Ramsey Lewis.
