ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Daunielle's debut album introduces a singer to the world who is well-known in the industry as one of the top background singers. She has been working with Huey Lewis and the News since 2010 and continues to be a female vocalist for the band. Backed by the Rays, the stellar Catfood Records studio group, and produced by Jim Gaines, winner of three Grammys. Daunielle has an amazing voice and is one of the few singers who can cover songs by Etta James and Jackie Wilson and pull it off. Eight originals on the album are by Sandy Carroll, Bob Trenchard, James Armstrong, who have written songs for other Catfood Artists, with Daunielle co-writing two songs about her own life. This is a bright new star who deserves to be heard out front, not just in the background.
