Album Notes
Acclaimed progressive ambient guitarist Dave Eichenberger's Christmas album is a little bit different. Each song is based on acoustic guitar and looping. Looping is a process in which sound is recorded live and then added to, or played over, in real time. These songs are the perfect, quiet alternative to the well-known popular versions, and wonderful for a Christmas party when you can't get Dave himself to perform.

This CD contains a multimedia section featuring pictures, album notes, and mp3s not included on the CD as well. Sorry, not available on the downloaded version.

Dave Eichenberger has been exploring the sounds of the guitar for over 27 years. Currently he performs around the SOutheast, and maintains a healthy roster of guitar students.

Combining looping with acoustic guitar makes a sound Dave calls 'contemporary chamber music'. Sounding like a cross between a harpsichord and a harp, it lies outside the traditional definitions of classical music and jazz.
His music, along with its connection to visual art, was profiled in the book Music Inspired by Art by Gary Evans.
Currently, Dave is endorsee with Brian Moore Custom Guitars and Sabine tuners. He has appeared on several compilation recordings for various musical gear manufacturers, including Gibson, Seymour Duncan, and Ernie Ball. He recently received a grant from the State of Florida for his 50 CD, 50 hour project 'Collectives'. You can read more about Dave @ www.hazardfactor.com.

New Age take on Old Songs
Lovely uses of 'new age' techniques on traditional songs of Christmas and Yule. Traditional enough to feel comfy, yet innovative so that it's not boring.
