Album Notes
Dave Goddess Group drives the lonely and twisted road to rock n' roll redemption, shifting gears between truth-telling ballads and gasket-blowing screamers with regard for neither fad nor fashion, trend nor taste. Known for their soulful, sweat-soaked live shows, the band has built a devoted following in their hometown of New York City and beyond.

Praise for their previous release "Blown Away":
In "Blown Away," the band takes a stripped down approach to some thoughtful yet rockin' material. Drums pound, guitars soar, the bass throbs as Goddess sings alternatively about life, death, religion, politics and wanting to get laid.
— Kristyn Clarke, PCM World News

Right out of the gate on the Blown Away EP it all kicks it into high gear with the title track…Blown Away is a suitable title…its pure rock 'n' roll ecstasy.
— Keith "MuzikMan" Hannaleck, Write A Music Review

Well-crafted songs, a highly polished delivery, and an ever-present sense of melody make Blown Away a worthy successor to DGG's full length Something New. Somehow DGG manages to produce very old-school music, yet makes it sound fresh and vital.
— Joe Mis, Hardrock Haven

And for "Something New":
Goddess is back with a new band and an absolutely terrific new album. Something New is major league all the way. Mixed and mastered by Ed Stasium, well-known for his work with the likes of the Ramones and the Smithereens, the music packs undeniable punch and clarity. Amid the drive and the clarion uplift, Goddess has poured his heart and soul into the best songs of his life, songs that resonate deeply beyond their passion and energy. These are tunes written by someone who has been around and learned some lessons. When he declares on "I Can Dream" that "it's better late than never," it's hard not to think he's talking about his continuing need to rock.
- Nick Cristiano, Philadelphia Inquirer
