ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Christmas Memories was recorded in the late 1980s, and was an immediate hit - the best selling album of Dave Hearn's solo career. Long missing from record stores, It has been re-mastered and re-released so that a new generation of Dave Hearn fans can discover it. Widely praised for it's subtlety and quiet joy, the 16 traditional carols and two Dave Hearn originals are suitable for background listening, even after the holidays are long over!

The music on Christmas Memories is rhapsodic, using the melodies of popular carols as the starting point for quiet ruminations sculpted from a wide variety of synthesized tones, but the album doesn't sound "electronic." Each track winds the famous melodies into a bed of beautiful sounds.

Enjoy this album all year round!
