Album Notes
We ventured into this recording in February 2008 - and now three years (and two children) later we are both grateful and excited to release it for the Glory of God.

We are also very excited to be able to partner with the Ratanak Foundation in efforts to support their work among the poor and oppressed in Cambodia. The work that has especially gripped our hearts is the Foundations NewSong Project - a rehabilitation centre for approximately 60 little girls who have been rescued from various brothels throughout Cambodia. While our exposure to the realities of child exploitation has become to us like an open wound, initiatives like the NewSong project remind us that even the darkest realities of oppression and injustice are not beyond the redemptive reach of Jesus Christ.

Our desire and prayer is then twofold: that our songs will encourage and equip the saints - leading them to worship, and that the funds raised from this album will indeed impact lives in Cambodia in the name of JESUS.

We would like to thank our family and friends who have supported us in prayer and encouragement throughout this project. Nathanael Sterr - thank you for the use of your studio and drums for our percussion recording session. Jon, Nathan, Luc, Dan, and Josh - thank you for your diligence and creative input into the recording – we are honored to have your gifting displayed here. We also want to say huge “Thank You!” to the couple who financially sponsored the album – making it possible for all funds to be directed to the Ratanak Foundation. May the LORD be glorified and worshiped in this, our collective offering.
