Album Notes
Dave Kleiner writes songs that mix pathos and humor, with a good beat and a catchy tune as well. This is his first release since his CD "Salesman" of 2001. His favorite songwriters include Tom Waits, Randy Newman, Richard Thompson, and Steve Earle. He and Liz Pagan toured Ireland this summer as part of the Yankee Caravan, playing originals and favorites from the performers who inspired them. Dave is very busy teaching third grade in Clifton, NJ. He still finds time to perform and record his interesting and unusual songs. He also does session work on electric and acoustic guitar, and eats well.
